Web13 Nov 2024 · Helping a friend with his Ulterra. It will not deploy with either the remote or foot pedal. There is a message on the remote “motor error” and it beeps about once per second. It is only 6 months old, so it will be a warranty repair but closest ASC is 2 hours. Just want to be sure there is not something simple we can fix before making the drive. Saw that Minnkota has new Ulterra auto deploy with Ipilot, seems tempting. Question is if anyone knows if Motorguide also coming out with auto deploy and trim also.
